The Land Bank is accepting recommendations for its board through Feb. 2. One position is available. Individuals and organizations may recommend someone, and an individual may recommend him/herself.
A potential board member must:
- Have expertise in relevant areas, including but not limited to planning, real estate development, open space and architecture
- Live or have a primary office in the City of Philadelphia
- File State and City Statement of Financial Interest forms (but not as part of the recommendation process)
- Be compliant with all City taxes, and any property owned must be clear of any municipal liens
A letter of recommendation and the resume of the person to be considered may be submitted via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The new board member will be chosen by the 10 current board members. The Land Bank board expects to reach this decision in time for the new board member to attend and participate in the Feb. 9, 2017 board meeting.
